Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is hiring a Medication Technician for Avamere Waterford in Medford, OR. The role administers medications, supports residents, and maintains accurate medication records in an assisted living/memory care setting.

Responsibilities include following care plans, coordinating with RNs, and documenting changes in the EMR while ensuring resident safety and comfort. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care or Assisted Living.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must obtain Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders and facility policy.
• Administer accurately and timely; record medications in resident records.
• Notify pharmacy or family when meds need refilling.
• Maintain a clean medication cart and room; monitor side effects.
• Follow care plans and document status changes in EMR.
• Support medical appointments and communicate with providers.
