Tryon Medical Partners seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for Ballantyne Primary Care. The role supports physicians with patient care, performs clerical tasks, and handles environmental duties to ensure smooth clinic operations. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, full-time.

The CMA will take vital signs, assist with exams, perform basic lab work, and manage patient communications under supervision, while maintaining compliance with privacy and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP or ABHES).
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Hepatitis B and influenza vaccination requirements may apply.
• TB screening required.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to exam/procedure rooms and document vitals and history.
• Assist physicians in exams and procedures, including injections and specimen collection.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and basic lab procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and referrals; manage charting in EHR.
• Handle front-office tasks and patient communications as needed.
• Maintain infection control and room cleanliness between visits.
