Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the SouthPark location. The role supports the South Park 8 Primary Care team, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, performing both clinical and administrative tasks.

The candidate will assist physicians, manage vital signs, injections, EHR entries, lab procedures, and patient communications, ensuring efficient patient flow and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• MA certification preferred.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• TB test completion required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs and history.
• Assist physicians with patient care and procedures.
• Administer injections and handle basic nursing tasks under supervision.
• Schedule appointments and follow up on physician orders.
• Prepare and manage patient records and EHR documentation.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and basic lab tasks as directed.
