Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Primary Care team in Waxhaw. The role includes clinical tasks and administrative duties, helping physicians with patient care, and maintaining efficient patient flow.

Ideal candidates will have CMA certification, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of experience in a medical office, comfortable with EHR, injections, vitals, and specimen collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification and CPR/BLS.
• Experience in clinical and administrative tasks in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs.
• Assist physicians and physician assistants in exams.
• Provide patient instructions as directed by clinicians.
• Handle telephone calls and messages for patient care per directions.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and basic specimen handling.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals and chart updates.
