Job summary

The Mariemont Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance Director and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You’ll handle routine maintenance, basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, perform inspections, respond to work orders, and assist with groundskeeping and snow removal. This is a hands-on role with opportunity to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care.
• Ability to perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Willingness to learn and grow under an experienced leader.
• Reliable, hard-working, team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Work closely under the guidance of our experienced Maintenance Director.
• Assist with daily maintenance tasks to keep a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Perform minor repairs and basic tasks in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond quickly to maintenance work orders and maintain accurate logs.
• Help with groundskeeping, snow removal and general upkeep as needed.
