Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, performing routine inspections, responding to work orders, and helping with groundskeeping and safety. The role offers full-time hours, potential overtime, and a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (especially in healthcare or long-term care).
• Painting Experience
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and grow under an experienced leader.
• Dependable, hard-working, and a good team player.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely under the guidance of our experienced Maintenance Director.
• Assist with daily maintenance tasks throughout our nursing care facility, helping ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Perform minor repairs and basic tasks in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond quickly to maintenance work orders and maintain accurate logs.
• Help with groundskeeping, snow removal, and general upkeep as needed.
