Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is seeking a full-time Line/Prep Cook to help produce meals and ensure timely service in a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• High School diploma.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides as needed.
• Positive attitude with prompt, efficient, and courteous service.
• Desire to learn and grow within the cooking profession.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed to ensure safety and sanitation
• Inspect storage areas for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order
