Le Meridien Charlotte and Sheraton Charlotte seeks a motivated Cook to join our bustling culinary team. You will support breakfast and lunch service, follow recipes, and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Open kitchen in absence of Executive Chef/Close kitchen in absence of Executive Chef.
• Follow all written recipes for menu items.
• Report out of stock items to the Executive Chef.
• Prepare sauces and dishes for breakfast and lunch menus.
• Assist with setting up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet.
• Prepare soups under the Executive Chef’s direction.
• Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel.
• Ensure dining room staff follow proper ordering and pickup procedures.
• Perform dinner set-up duties per Prep List.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
