Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated Home Care Field Specialist in Minnesota to deliver high-quality home care to clients with diverse and complex needs. This full-time role requires comfort with Hoyer lifts, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

The position offers 40 guaranteed hours per week and a 60-hour weekly availability for coverage. Travel across Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Burnsville, and Bloomington is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, patient and caring.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in hands-on environments (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital).
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities: meals, light housekeeping, errands.
• Provide physical assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings; provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Home Care Field Specialist to join our team. This full-time role requires providing high-quality home care services to clients with diverse and often complex needs. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with Hoyer lifts and have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance. This position offers40 guaranteed hours per week, with a required 60-hour weekly availability to ensure flexible scheduling and coverage. Must be comfortable traveling Throughout the twin cities as we service clients in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Burnsville, and Bloomington.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.
