Job summary

Ambercare – an Addus family company in New Mexico is hiring a flexible Home Care Aide to support seniors and disabled clients living at home. You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, and provide companionship while on-call 5 days a week with at least 20 hours guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation; if driving, valid license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Call in to the office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans for clients and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments, store, and other errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
