Job summary

Ambercare – an Addus family company in Santa Clara, NM, is hiring Flex Home Care Aides to support seniors and disabled clients in their homes. You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, and report changes to the office.

The role is on-call 5 days a week (including one weekend day) with 40 hours per week (20 hours guaranteed). You must be 18+, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and be compassionate and self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Nurturing, compassionate nature with a desire to care for others.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Call office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide routine housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
