Job summary

ARTE MUSEUM New York is seeking an Operations Team Member to be the heart of the guest experience, from welcoming visitors at the front desk to maintaining exhibition floor standards. You will rotate across Reception, Ticket Checking, Rounding, MD Shop, and Tea Bar, delivering friendly, informed service and ensuring smooth operations.

The role requires strong customer service, 1 year of experience, and ability to work full-time (40 hours), with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time customer service experience.
• Must be available for full-time employment only (40 hours per week).
• Physically able to remain on your feet for extended periods, walk the museum, lift up to 15–20 lbs.
• Food Handler Certificate required for Tea Bar rotation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong customer service orientation with warm, professional communication.
• Active listening and clear verbal communication; explain exhibition content engagingly.
• Proactive, adaptable team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Able to handle emergencies calmly and follow guidelines.
• Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Upselling skills and a service-first attitude.

Responsibilities
