Job summary

ARTE MUSEUM Los Angeles is opening a first-of-its-kind immersive art experience. We are seeking Operations Staff to welcome guests, maintain the guest experience, and support daily museum operations.

You will rotate through Reception, Ticket Checking, Rounding, MD Shop and Tea Bar, delivering warm information and assistance with a professional, proactive mindset. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with benefits and weekend/holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time customer service experience.
• Must be available for full-time employment only (40 hours per week).
• Physically able to stand, walk for long periods, and lift 15–20 lbs.
• Food Handler Certificate (or card) required for Tea Bar rotation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong customer service orientation with warm, professional communication skills.
• Active listening and clear verbal communication; ability to explain exhibition content engagingly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all visitors, including VIPs and large groups, ensuring every guest feels valued.
• Deliver accurate, engaging information about the exhibition, ticketing, and museum policies.
• Rotate across operational areas: Reception, Ticket Checking, Rounding, MD Shop and Tea Bar.
• Assist guests with purchases, manage inventories, and process payments where applicable.
