Job summary

Granada Gardens in Granada Hills, CA is seeking a dependable Porter to support the upkeep of the property. You will perform janitorial duties, maintain common areas, and assist the maintenance team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

The role involves grounds work, outdoor cleaning, and unit turnover support. The position is Full Time non-exempt with overtime eligibility; base pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Groundkeeping/janitorial/property maintenance preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance: maintain the exterior appearance, perform daily trash runs, empty liners, clean outdoor spaces.
• Common Area Cleaning: clean and sanitize laundry rooms, maintain light fixtures, keep hallways and shared spaces clean, paint as needed.
• Move-Out Preparation: assist with items left by vacating residents and turnover prep.
• General Duties: report safety hazards, operate equipment, assist with special projects.
