Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming common areas for residents and guests.

Under the direction of the Community Manager, this role will upkeep grounds, parking areas, and facilities, with potential cross‑training in housekeeping and maintenance to support smooth operations. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and proactive outdoor maintenance, with opportunities for growth in a supportive culture and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills used for simple calculations and measurements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas (hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways).
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors and clean carpets and surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as assigned.
• Empty trash and replace bathroom supplies; manage waste disposal.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor upkeep tasks.
• Maintain exterior areas: cut grass, trim shrubs, and remove debris.
