• Greets patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Obtains completed registration forms for new patients.
• Updates demographic profile at each visit.
• Collects payments for services rendered and past due balances.
• Processes requests for patient records and test results.
• Reschedules appointments as needed.
• Manages phone service at opening/closing times.
• Reviews on-call schedule with the phone service.
• Updates patient insurance information.
• Obtains pre-authorization for procedures when needed.
• Distributes mail and copies as required.
• Substitutes for other staff when needed.
• Adheres to Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned by physician or manager.
