Location: Cub Foods Alexandria
Reports to: Assistant Store Director / Department Manager
Rate of Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 / hour, based on experience
Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Responsibilities

• Build lasting connections with customers
• Provide employee supervision and work direction to keep the team productive
• Problem solve quickly and communicate store issues to management
• Assist with merchandising and receiving products to keep shelves full (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Help maintain a safe store environment
• Collaborate with the team on all tasks necessary to have an outstanding store

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, promotes customer service for the entire team
• 2-3 years supervisory management experience preferred
• Knowledge of planning, coordinating, and managing a store’s daily functions
• Completed Food Safety training
• Motivated to grow career and continue learning

Physical Requirements

Frequent (approx. 15% of shift): lifting/carrying to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 20 lbs, equipment operation (scanner, register, etc.), reaching, standing, turning.
Occasional (less than 15% of shift): lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, squatting, stooping/bending, walking.
