Job summary

Atomic Transport in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a skilled A Tech to join our maintenance team. You will diagnose wiring, exhaust after-treatment systems, and perform repairs on trucks and trailers with a focus on safety and reliability.

We offer competitive pay ($75,000-$90,000 per year), weekly pay, paid holidays and orientation, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. CDL preferred but not required; welding experience is required, tools provided, and opportunities for growth exist within a growing fleet.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Welding experience required.
• Own set of basic hand tools.
• Class A CDL preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Extensive background knowledge in wiring diagnostics.
• Effectively diagnose exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Use diagnostic software to include Cummins Insite and quick servers, Diagnostic-Link, PTT, Allison and Bendix systems.
• Perform minor and major truck and trailer repairs.
• Perform roadside service calls.
• Prioritize and diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
• Follow shop safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Willing to share your repair skills with other technicians.

• Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
• Welding experience required.
