Job summary

Atomic Transport is hiring a skilled B Tech to join our local fleet maintenance team. Based in the Chattanooga area, you’ll perform routine and complex repairs on trucks and trailers, and you’ll diagnose issues using engine diagnostic software and knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.

We offer steady hours Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday work, paid holidays and vacation, and a competitive hourly wage starting at $25–$30 per hour plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
• Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
• Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Perform road-side service calls.
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• Specialty and larger tools will be provided.
