Atomic Transport is seeking a skilled A Tech to join our local fleet maintenance team in the Chattanooga area. The role focuses on wiring diagnostics, exhaust after-treatment, and comprehensive truck/trailer repairs, with steady hours and competitive pay.

Applicants should be proficient with Cummins Insite, Diagnostic-Link, PTT, and other diagnostic tools, able to perform roadside service, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Diagnose wiring and electrical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to assess engine and after-treatment systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

Our trucks are powered by reliable Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines, ensuring performance and efficiency across all operations. We’re currently seeking a skilled A Tech to join our team. What we Offer:

• Pay starting at: $30-$35 per hour depending on experience.

• Effectively diagnose exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic software to include Cummins Insite and quick servers, Diagnostic-Link, PTT, Allison and Bendix systems.
• Perform minor and major truck and trailer repairs.
• Perform roadside service calls.
• Prioritize and diagnose problems and plan repairs.

  Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong technical skills, problem solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background check).
  • Have your own set of basic hand tools (specialty and larger tools will be provided).
  • Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
