Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a Day Porter to perform custodial work for facilities in the Savannah, GA area. The role requires cleaning all areas of the facility to industry standards, with a typical 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, wearing company uniform and safety shoes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED preferred and at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is preferred.
• Six months of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to communicate in and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of office areas, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and all other areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Mops and sweeps as needed.
• Vacuums carpets at designated areas such as break rooms, elevators, offices, escalators, and stairs.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and related furnishings as requested by the supervisor.
• Empties waste paper baskets; collects, bags, and disposes of paper and debris as directed; collects and places in containers garbage, broken glass, and litter.
• Replenishes rest room supplies; cleans, disinfects, and services lavatories, locker rooms, and rest rooms.
