Job summary

Owens Realty Services in Marietta, GA, seeks a Day Porter to perform custodial tasks for a facility of roughly 4,500–5,000 sq ft. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, with an emphasis on safety and cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and offices.

The role requires ability to follow English instructions, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs are routine. Day-to-day duties include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and ensuring a neat, sanitary environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of office areas, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas to a clean, sanitary standard.
• Mops and sweeps as needed.
• Vacuum carpets in break rooms, offices, elevators, stairs.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and related furnishings.
• Empties waste baskets and disposes of trash.
• Replenishes rest room supplies and cleans lavatories and locker rooms.
• Maintains cleaning carts and custodial closet in secure, orderly condition.
• Reports safety hazards and follows PPE procedures.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.
