Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Program Coordinator for our Crisis/IRTS team. The role centers on helping clients access services, coordinating care, and supporting individualized treatment planning.

The position is based at our Chicago Ave location with a starting wage of $24.20–$26.14 per hour, and includes a $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates. Regular full-time hours are Monday–Friday during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Identify and address barriers to accessing mental health care.
• Assist with obtaining health care insurance coverage.
• Reference and connect clients to appropriate community-based services.

Responsibilities

• Use person-centered principles to engage clients in their mental health recovery and build supportive relationships.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation while prioritizing safety.
• Coordinate services across providers and assist with applications for necessary resources.
• Provide skill-building, coaching, and scheduling support for medical or mental health appointments.
• Complete program orientation and verify information for new admissions.
• Coordinate treatment plans, telehealth visits, and updates to care providers for integrated services.
• Establish daily program schedules, check staffing, and arrange coverage as needed.
