Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dedicated Full-time Cook at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. You will work Tue-Fri from 12 noon to 8:30 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 4 pm, contributing to meal preparation, presentation, and service in a dynamic dining environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of cooking experience, strong attention to safety and sanitation, and a proactive, energetic team player who embraces a family culture and supports growth opportunities within a respected national food

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience including food preparation.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and safety/sanitation practices.
• Excellent food presentation skills.
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pleasant dining experience for customers.
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes and cooking methods.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen and proper food handling.
• Ensure correct portioning, dating and rotation of food items.
