Job summary

AVI Foodsystems at Bryant University seeks a Full-time Food Service Dining Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, ensure safety and quality, and provide excellent customer service. The role involves cash handling, adherence to policies, and supervising daily activities within a campus dining environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, culinary/foodservice background, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds while maintaining high standards of service and professional

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures including food and physical safety programs.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (customer issues, cleanliness, safety or security).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
