Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center is hiring an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to support care delivery under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform vital signs, ADLs, and participate in education programs while maintaining a culture of safety.

Requirements include Maryland CNA license, High School Diploma, CNA program completion, and BLS. The position offers 36 hours/week with 3–12 hour shifts, night or day shift, and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA license is required.
• High School Diploma required and CNA program completion.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to lift, bend and turn.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan and report to RN.
• Participate in department education and initiatives.
• Maintain safety and clean work areas.
• Deliver professional image and patient care.
