Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Data Entry Coordinator for our Coastal Carolina Research Center in Charleston, SC. The role supports entry of visit data into EDC and other systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of clinical data entry experience. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft apps, 40+ wpm typing, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, email, and web applications.
• Typing proficiency of 40+ wpm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; able to work independently and with others.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional, respectful, self-motivated, and with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and HIPAA-compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into eDC and other clinical data software/systems in collaboration with site team.
• Review patient charts and records to ensure data accuracy and timely entry.
• Report irregularities or problems with a study to appropriate parties.
• Support other clinical research-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, ICF documentation, GCP/GDP guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, customer, and company information.
