Job summary

Lake Seminole Square is seeking a Certified Caregiver to join our Homecare Program in Independent Living on a full-time daytime schedule. You will provide hands-on care, assist residents with ADLs, and serve as a compassionate companion while supporting independence within community policies.

Responsibilities include ambulation support, meal prep, reminders, and maintaining care plans. Arizona caregiver certification is required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Demonstrates high levels of customer care with compassion and heart.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions.
• Flu vaccine required.

Job description

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver to work full time days for our Homecare Program in our Independent Living.

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the residents. Assists with helping to keep resident's apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the residents. Be a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.

• Ambulation and transfer assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
• Wake up services and dressing assistance
• Meal preparation
• Organizational help
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
• Companionship
• Schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Know and understand resident's expectations and meet those expectations within community policy
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident's ability to function independently
