Job summary

All Jobs in Phoenix is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on care and assist residents with ADLs in Independent Living at Sagewood. You will support ambulation, meals, grooming, and daily activities.

This role emphasizes companionship, maintaining residents' independence, and documenting care. A current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech Certificate or CNA license is required, English communication, and vaccine compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech Certificate or CNA license required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Ambulation and transfer assistance.
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance.
• Wake up services and dressing assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Organizational help.
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance).
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.).
• Companionship.
• Schedule and medication reminders.
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed.
• Know and understand resident’s expectations and meet those expectations within community policy.
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident’s ability to function independently.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00
Location: Independent Living at Sagewood

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the resident. Assists with helping to keep resident’s apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the resident. By a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.
