Job summary

Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver to work full-time night shifts in our Independent Living homecare program. The role provides hands-on care, assists with ADLs, and serves as a compassionate companion to residents.

Starting pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Required credentials include a current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech/CNA certificate and English communication.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech/CNA Certificate required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Flu vaccine required.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ambulation and transfer assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
• Wake up services and dressing assistance
• Meal preparation
• Organizational help
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
• Companionship
• Schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident's ability to function independently

Job description

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver to work full time nights for our Homecare Program in our Independent Living.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00
Schedule: 3/ 12 hour shifts - 36 hours per week
Location: Independent Living at Sagewood

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the residents. Assists with helping to keep resident's apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the residents. Be a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.
