Job summary

Clarendale of Chandler is seeking a dedicated Arizona Certified Caregiver to join our team. This full-time role offers a wage of $18.50 to $19.50 per hour and a schedule that varies, with weekends and holidays required.

We value hospitality, compassionate care, and a positive work environment. Qualified candidates will have a state certification, CPR/First Aid, and experience in senior living care; fingerprint clearance and a Food Handler’s Card are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona state certification for Caregiving is required.
• 1–2 years of senior living care experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and Fingerprint Clearance Card are required or obtainable.
• Food Handler’s Card is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist at mealtimes and help with feeding as needed.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report incomplete tasks to supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, and department heads as needed.
• Provide planned activities and engage residents.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Who You Are

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Current certification by the state of Arizona for Caregiving
• 1-2 years in senior living care settings with prior Caregiver experience preferred
• Able to obtain or have current CPR/First Aide certification
• Able to obtain or have Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Able to obtain or have Food Handler’s Card

Job Summary

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents at mealtimes. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
