Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for either a 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shift in a residential treatment setting. This entry-level role supports adults with co-occurring diagnoses, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and assists a clinical team in daily operations.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, group activities, and coordination with nursing staff, with benefits such as 401(k) and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License, required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical and other information.
• Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records.

Responsabilités

• Provides services to maintain a functioning milieu in a residential facility.
• Transport clients and ensure safety per protocol.
• Stock and inventory client items; provide access to necessities.
• Perform administrative functions and maintain client records.
• Organize client belongings and control access to items.
• Monitor client locations and attendance at programs.
• Observe and document client behaviors and presentations.
• Complete medication observations and assist medical team; record vitals.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
