Promises Behavioral Health is hiring a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician for a residential treatment setting in Houston. Schedule includes Sunday–Tuesday, 7am–7pm, with duties focused on supervising the milieu and supporting clinical staff.

The role is entry-level, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols, patient confidentiality, and accurate documentation within an electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
• Valid Driver's License, required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support in a residential treatment milieu.
• Transport/escort clients and manage inventory.
• Maintain safety, OSHA protocols and cleanliness.
• Document client behaviors and vitals; support nursing team.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
