Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician in a residential facility.

Shifts are 3 x 12 hours, rotating weekends, 7pm-7am with a $1/hour night shift differential (10pm-7am). The role supports adults with co-occurring diagnoses and requires driving and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively; listen and respond to questions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and document thoroughly in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support clients and staff in a residential treatment setting.
• Provide 24/7 milieu supervision and help create a therapeutic environment.
• Transport/pick up clients and maintain safety protocols.
• Perform medication observations and assist medical/nursing team.
• Maintain high quality documentation using clinical language.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
