Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for our Worcester, MA residential program. The role provides 24/7 milieu supervision and non-clinical support to adults with co-occurring diagnoses, under supervision of clinical staff.

The position requires strong communication, confidentiality, and documentation skills, with at least one year in addiction or mental health settings. A valid driver's license is required, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Ability to document thoroughly in an EMR.
• Knowledge of patient care approaches and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide milieu maintenance and support which includes transportation, safety, inventory, and access to necessities.
• Monitor client locations and attendance, and document behaviors.
• Complete medication observations and assist medical/nursing staff with vitals.
• Maintain quality documentation in clinical language and EMR.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
