Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Homer City, PA is seeking a Full-time Sales Associate to drive B2B sales and deliver outstanding customer service at our PAIND Public Store location.

You will build new partnerships and nurture existing relationships through consultative selling, coordinating resources, and leveraging our inventory management solutions to add value for customers. On-site duties include fielded calls, local sales visits, and handling daily branch operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver''s license and ability to meet driving record requirements
• Degree in business/sales/marketing or related field OR customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong aptitude for sales and desire to sell
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
• Strong organization and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving and decision making
• Demonstrate Fastenal core values (ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork)
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs up to 75 lbs
• Pass drug screen in US

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
