Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / 1:1 Paraeducator (School Age) to provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support aligned with the student's IEP. The role is school-year based, with supervision from the classroom teacher and program supervisor.

Weekly schedule is 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 185 days per year, with a minimum hourly salary of $20.00.

Qualifications

• Education Required: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Must meet one of four qualifications within 6 months of employment or provide credential.
• Pro-rate staff development: 20 hours per year.
• Must be able to lift and assist students and potentially restrain in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support per IEP.
• Work under supervision of classroom teacher and program supervisor.
