Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer, Full Stack, on the Experimentation Platform to architect and evolve an industry‑leading platform used by thousands of internal engineers and data scientists. You will work across backend services, SDKs, and the Decision Portal UI, balancing frontend, backend, and data concerns.

You bring 2+ years in web app development with TypeScript/React, strong CS fundamentals, and experience with REST/gRPC.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industry experience building web apps end-to-end using TypeScript with React on the frontend.
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and OOP.
• Experience designing, implementing, and consuming backend APIs (REST/gRPC).
• Experience with databases and choosing storage layers for problems.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and simplify the Experimentation Platform used by engineers company-wide.
• Possibly build a new Experimentation platform from ground up; influence system design and product experience.
• Own features end-to-end from APIs/data models to React UI in the Decision Portal.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Data Infra engineers.
• Introduce AI coding tools and advanced technologies into experimentation configuration, launches, and readings.
• Evolve the platform to support advanced ML/AI methods and causal inference.
