DoorDash in New York is seeking a senior data scientist to join the Decision Systems Experimentation Platform. In this foundational role you'll quickly learn how teams across DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt run experiments and help close gaps between needs and today’s tooling.

You’ll shape the platform with influence as brands combine and evolve the experimentation approach. You’ll design statistical methods, set the vision for experimentation, and partner with engineering to build the platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science and experimentation.
• Experience thinking about experimentation at a programme level.
• Solid grounding in experimentation methodology (multiple comparisons, power).
• Comfortable as an individual contributor with stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design statistical methods to promote best practices and faster insights across multiple brands.
• Define the vision for experimentation with leadership.
• Set cross-brand standards for trusting results across markets.
• Partner with engineering to build the experimentation platform.
• Help determine where AI belongs in the experimentation process.
