Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer for the Developer Insights team in the San Francisco area. The role focuses on enhancing the internal developer experience by building the internal developer portal and related tools using modern web tech and Backstage.io.

You will influence architecture decisions and help drive product roadmaps. You will work across frontend, backend, and data domains, mentoring peers and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver impactful features that scale

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of web tech experience using Typescript with React on the frontend and Java/Kotlin/Python/Go on the backend.
Proven product-minded approach to building platform services.
Interest in systems and software with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Introduce cutting edge technologies to the engineering org, including LLM-based tools.
Build new features for Developer Insights (Backstage.io).
Improve developer experience for all engineers.
Collaborate across team boundaries and contribute to upstream OSS projects.
Mentor peers and lead the team in a technical fashion.
Assist in roadmap planning and feature measurement.
Represent the team in OKRs and engineering all-hands.
Switch context between frontend, backend, and data as needed.
