Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Developer Insights team. You will build internal tools and improve the developer experience for hundreds of engineers, including the internal developer portal built on Backstage.io.

You’ll work across frontend and backend, mentor peers, contribute to upstream OSS, and help with roadmap planning and OKR presentations while delivering robust, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in web technologies using TypeScript with React on the frontend and with a backend language (Java/Kotlin/Python/Go).
• Strong product mindset and ability to apply it to platform services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build features for Developer Insights and internal tools (Backstage.io based).
• Improve developer experience for hundreds of DoorDash engineers.
• Mentor peers and contribute to roadmap planning and OKRs; participate in engineering all-hands.
