Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for the Developer Insights team. You will help build internal tools, including our developer portal, and work across frontend and backend to deliver features that improve engineer productivity.

You will mentor peers, shape technical direction, and contribute to open-source projects. Strong TypeScript with React frontend experience and backend experience in Java/Kotlin/Python/Go are valued, along with familiarity with AI

Qualifications

• 2+ years of web tech experience using TypeScript and React on the frontend.
• Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Python or Go.
• Experience with AI coding tools across the SDLC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Introduce cutting edge technologies to the engineering org, including LLM-powered tools.
• Build new features for Developer Insights (Backstage.io).
• Improve developer experience for all engineers across teams.
• Collaborate across team boundaries on projects and roadmaps.
• Contribute features and bug fixes to upstream open-source projects.
• Mentor and educate peers and lead technically.
• Help with roadmap planning and measurement of existing features.
• Represent the team in OKR and engineering all-hands discussions.
• Context switch from frontend to backend to data as needed.
