Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join the Experimentation team. You’ll collaborate with backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers to build a scalable experimentation platform using Go and RESTful APIs, with user experiences in React and TypeScript.

You’ll contribute to design, development, and maintenance, take ownership of features, participate in code reviews, and help improve observability and reliability in a

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications.
• Familiarity with Typescript, React, Node, and Go is preferred but not required.
• Solid grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Exposure to building or maintaining scalable, production-grade systems.
• Familiarity with observability practices and tools (e.g., logging, metrics, monitoring).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and maintenance of scalable experimentation services.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions impacting scalability and performance.
• Lead limited scope features from definition to deployment.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and optimize reliability.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and designers to implement features.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Write clean, well-tested code to improve reusability.
