Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer on the Developer Experience team to build foundational tooling for all DoorDash Web apps, including monorepos, build and CI systems, and agent-first development tools. You will work with engineers and stakeholders to deliver large, impactful initiatives and mentor peers to elevate our web engineering practice.

You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Web Developer Experience within the Developer Platform and must be located in San Francisco,

Qualifications

• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript across large codebases.
• Experience shipping changes in large, complex codebases/monorepos.
• Passionate about adopting and using AI coding tools to improve workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect foundational libraries and tooling for web apps.
• Build and improve monorepos, build systems, and CI tooling.
