Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer for the Developer Insights team in San Francisco. You will help build internal tools to improve the developer experience for hundreds of engineers, including our internal developer portal.

You will work across frontend, backend, and data domains, introducing cutting-edge technologies and contributing to open-source projects. A product mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of web experience with TypeScript and React.
• Backend experience in Java, Kotlin, Python or Go.
• Strong product mindset and ability to design platform services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience using AI coding tools in the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Introduce cutting edge technologies to our engineering organization, including tools built on LLMs.
• Build new features for Developer Insights using Backstage.io.
• Improve the developer experience for all engineers.
• Collaborate across team boundaries and contribute to upstream open-source projects.
• Mentor and educate peers; lead the team in a technical fashion and roadmap planning.
• Represent the team at OKRs and engineering all-hands presentations.
• Context switch from frontend to backend to data as needed.
