Job summary

Sift is seeking a product engineering role to own the Sift Agents product area. You’ll interact with customers to define features, decide what to build, and own the delivery from MVP onward.

The work spans frontend micro-interactions to Kubernetes-scale backend logic, including tool interfaces and sandboxed code execution. You’ll build and maintain the MCP server and agentic systems, connecting telemetry dashboards, analysis scripts, and evaluation pipelines across cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Own a product area: talk to customers, decide what to build, ship it.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and partner with product to turn workflows into agent capabilities.
• Design, ship, and operate agentic systems for large-scale time-series data and domain context.
• Build frontend surfaces for Sift Agents and APIs powering agent capabilities.
• Run agents reliably at scale, in cloud and on-prem.
• Develop evaluation suites to measure usefulness, latency, cost, and reliability.
