Job summary

Sift is seeking a product engineering role for Sift Agents. You’ll own a product area, talk directly to customers, and drive from MVP through iterative improvements after shipping.

The work spans frontend micro-interactions to Kubernetes scaling logic, all focused on making agents dependable. Join a hands-on team building time-series tooling, MCP surfaces, and cross-stack APIs while evaluating frontier models.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience owning a product area and communicating with customers.
• Experience building frontend apps with React/NextJS or similar.
• Experience building APIs or backend services (Go, Python, Rust) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers to translate review workflows into agent capabilities.
• Design, ship, and operate agentic systems over large-scale time-series data.
• Develop and maintain MCP server to query telemetry directly.
• Build frontend surfaces for Sift Agents and associated APIs.
• Run agents at scale in cloud and on-prem, with observability and reliability.
