Job summary

Sift, the data infrastructure platform for hardware engineering teams, is seeking a product engineer to own AI agent capabilities. You will work directly with customers, shape features from MVP onward, and influence frontend and backend decisions across the stack.

You will design and operate agentic systems for large-scale telemetry, implement tooling and guardrails, and help ensure reliability, observability, and performance in cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building frontend apps with React/Next.js.
• Experience designing and consuming REST/gRPC APIs.
• Interested in AI products and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers to translate reviews into agent features.
• Design, ship, and operate agentic systems at scale.
• Develop and maintain MCP server and API surfaces.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and infra stacks.
