Job summary

BAM in Washington state is seeking a detail-oriented Full-Service Bookkeeper with deep QuickBooks Online expertise to manage day-to-day financial operations for multiple small-business clients. You will work independently, keeping accurate books and providing proactive client service.

You will handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll/tax support, and client communication, maintaining client records, generating reports, and assisting with year-end tax preparation in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online - reconciliations, bank rules, recurring transactions, journal entries, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing books from start to finish including A/R, A/P, reconciliations, payroll entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with multiple clients or businesses is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple clients and deadlines.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and research solutions independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Professional, dependable, proactive approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete bookkeeping processes for multiple small-business clients.
• Record and categorize income and expenses accurately.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and other accounts.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
• Process vendor bills and customer invoices; apply payments.
• Manage recurring transactions, journal entries, deposits, transfers, and other bookkeeping activities.
• Review transactions for accuracy, categorization, and documentation.
• Resolve discrepancies or unusual transactions; keep client books organized.
