Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a motivated Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates while partnering with hiring managers to hire qualified talent.

The onsite Virginia role requires a Bachelor’s degree and HR recruiting experience; strong communication, organization, and ATS proficiency. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, job boards, Microsoft Office, and other recruiting tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles.
• Develop and post engaging job descriptions across job boards, social media, and other recruiting platforms.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Review resumes and applications and conduct initial phone or video screenings.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide candidates with information about the company, position, benefits, and hiring process.
• Track candidates and maintain accurate recruitment records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Assist with background checks, reference checks, employment offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and provide updates on hiring progress.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
